About Me
My wife and I have been together for 25 years and married for 19. We are parents to two teenagers - a role that has shaped my ability to listen, to constantly learn, to adapt, and to show up with patience, perspective and above all, love. I understand that no two relationships are the same, and that the moments that matter most are the ones that can't be anticipated or planned.
Outside of my work as a celebrant, I have spent many years as a host in various guises - as a corporate MC, a tour guide, and a natural facilitator of experiences. Whether speaking to a small, intimate group or holding the attention of a large audience, I bring a calm presence, think quickly on my feet and have an intuitive sense of propriety.
I have a deep love for the outdoors. When not working I am most likely to be found at a local surf spot or running on some of the Cape's magnificent mountain trails. I balance these activities with a healthy appreciation for good food and wine, the qualities of which are always significantly enhanced when shared with great company.
I am a people person at heart and love any opportunity to celebrate life, which is why I have been drawn to officiate and MC weddings.
At the centre of it all my approach is simple : to be present, to connect and to create space for moments that feel easy, meaningful and truly your own.
